Campanile Strasbourg - Illkirch Geispolsheim

Our room was on the bottom floor at the back of the property, completely shaded and near the L'Ille river. This was pretty and relaxing, but also created problems with the room. Everything was a little damp and moldy smelling all of the time, and opening the window and using the heater in the bathroom did not help. If we stayed here again, I'd ask for a room upstairs on the front side of the property. The staff and all the shared amenities were lovely.

The price was cheap and so our expectations. We got everything we needed, a place to sleep before continuing on our Journey to Italy.

The room was very quiet and cool. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was very welcome. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice and the meal in the restaurant in the evening was really good and value for money.

Its was good but far from city center and difficult to get taxi
